Eight injured in road mishap, two in critical condition

Hetauda: Eight persons were injured in a road accident at Bhimfedi rural municipality-6 in Makawanpur district today when a vehicle (Na 1 Cha 1939) met with an accident.

Of the injured, driver Sagar Khadka and Rupa Chaulagain are in critical condition, said Dr Amardip Mandal of Bhimfedi Health Centre.

The accident took place when the vehicle heading towards Kathmandu from Hetauda fell some 100 metres off the road while giving a way to another vehicle coming from opposite direction, according to the Bhimfedi Area Police Office.

Similarly, Kinda Dahal, Srijana Chaulagain, Raj Kumar Ghalan, Jeevan Shah, Prakriti Manandhar and Bidur Dhimal received minor injuries in the accident and they have been brought to Hetauda for treatment, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Bodh Prasad Yadav.
