Kathmandu: Taking to the street former Chief Justice Sushila Karki Saturday openly expressed her solidarity to pile pressure to the government for meeting the demand put forth by Dr Govinda KC, who is on his hunger strike on a 13th consecutive day.
Hundreds of supports joined the protest rally in support of Dr KC. The protest rally reached to corner meeting after it headed from Baneshwore to Maitighar Mandala.
Equipped by some human rights activists including Krishna Pahadi, civil society leader Subodh Pyakurel among others, Karki leaded the rally.
Protesters have jingled bells on a symbolic note to heap pressure on the lawmakers to endorse Medical Education Bill which is now in the Parliament.
Crusader KC has been staging fast-unto-death with seven point demands including the endorsement of medical education bill. This is his 11th fast-unto-death hunger strike.
