Kathmandu: The Secondary Education Examinations (considered up to grade 12) are to be conducted from April 24 to May 5.
With the eighth amendment to the Education Regulation, the final exam of 12th grade is taken to be SEE, previously known as School Leaving Examination (SLC).
Earlier, the final examination of 10th grade was considered the SLC. All preparations of the examination taking place for the first time after the formation of National Examination Board have completed, shared Board's examination controller Santosh Aryal.
Total 353,012 examinees of constituent campuses and Plus Two schools are appearing in the examination. It includes 176,612 male and 176,400 female examinees.
Altogether 990 examination centres have been set throughout the country.
The Board has informed that it would publish the results of the examinations within 90 days.
